Puccini’s last opera is a masterpiece in the great Italian lyrical tradition.
With its glorious melodies and exotic colour, it recounts the mythical tale of the beautiful, cold-hearted Princess Turandot who demands that her suitors solve three riddles – or die.
The opera’s passionate music, with the famous ‘Nessun dorma’ sung by the sensational Vladimir Galuzin, is a celebration of the ultimate triumph of love and compassion.
