Cinderella

UK Premiere

7, 8 August at 7.30pm

9 August at 2.00pm & 7.30pm

Set to Prokofiev’s vivid, witty and lyrical score, Cinderella is given fresh, multi-faceted insights in this new version of the beloved fairy-tale, which received its acclaimed world premiere in Moscow earlier this year. Suffering, magic, humour and love combine in the timeless and touching story of the beautiful, downtrodden girl who, despite the comic intrigues of her jealous stepmother and ugly stepsisters, wins the hand of her handsome Prince. The inspired choreography by celebrated young dancer-choreographer, Yuri Possokhov, showcases the famed versatility of the Bolshoi’s dancers.
