Gala

This unique Gala, featuring fully staged elements of the Bolshoi Ballet’s most spectacular and lavish productions, is certain to attract ballet lovers from across the whole country. The programme will begin with Act II, Scene 1 from Swan Lake when Prince Siegfried is deceived by Odile and The Evil Genius during a ball at the castle.

The programme continues with excerpts from Chopiniana, Flames of Paris, La Fille mal gardée and the Grand pas from Don Quixote, displaying the great virtuosity of the Company. The programme concludes with Act II from Grigorovich’s Spartacus portraying the revolt of the gladiators with Spartacus proclaimed leader of the uprising.
